About River Art Group

River Art Group is a San Antonio, TX co-operative art group with a gallery located in historic La Villita.  River Art Group is proud to celebrate their 75th anniversary of their founding in the summer of 1947.

Each member is juried into the group for their own medium(s).  All art is their own original work, and while the artist may offer reproductions, it will be a reproduction of their original art.

River Art Group has a membership of about 200 artists who work one day a month hosting our visitors and customers.  Art is routinely refreshed in our gallery so hosts and art can change daily.

We are jurying new members every quarter, selecting only the artists who meet our high standard of work.
