Original River Friends

River Friends is about finding friends in San Antonio. A stray dog and cat becoming friends at the San Antonio Riverwalk. The real animals each found a home in the city's surrounding area. I met the dog at SARA Animal Sanctuary. He was receiving love and care while waiting for the special person to take him home. The cat was a stray in our neighborhood 10 or more years ago. Luckily, he found a cluster of homes on our street where he gets food and water and a warm place to sleep in winter. I see him daily when walking my dog. This watercolor on Arches paper is framed in a simple 16x20" black frame with white mat.
