TX Heritage desk box

This one-of-a-kind TX heritage box was crafted in Wimberley TX. The box is made of mesquite and maple and features a awesome early to mid-19th century hand forged spike as the lid pull. I found this spike was decades ago on a neighboring ranch in some long-forgotten ruins north of Jacobs Well that predate the civil war according to the rancher. I carefully cut the mesquite sides to achieve a beautiful full grain wrap around the entire box and custom mix my own finish which after applying 2 coats I hand buff the surface with paste wax. This is a truly unique gift that cannot be replicated and will be cherished for decades to come. Dimensions are 7x4x3
